At Nolan and Vada, we believe ethics should not be limited to sourcing of raw materials, but a standard in everything we do.
Ethical Sourcing of Diamonds
At Nolan and Vada, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards conflict diamonds. Our diamonds are proudly sourced from global manufacturers that comply with the United Nations Kimberley Process in order to ensure all of our diamonds are ethically sourced.
Ethical Sourcing of Sapphires
Unlike diamonds, the truth is that tracing a sapphire's origin is not always possible. However, we work with reputable suppliers who share the same values and standards as set by the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) and do our best to ensure that every sapphire we sell is mined ethically.
Ethical Sourcing of Metals
As a part of commitment to environment, we are proud about the fact that most of the precious metals we use are produced by recycled waste from the Jewelry Industry within Australasia.
Ethical Labor Practices
Unlike many in the industry, we do not get our rings manufactured in countries where there is a risk of compromised labor practices. All our rings are proudly made in New Zealand with the expertise of experienced master jewelers & center stone setters with over 20 years of experience in trade.
Ethical Disclosure of Enhancements
We believe even if the sapphires are enhanced by industry accepted ways, it is not only ethical but also a right of the consumer to know about enhancements before making a purchase. As a part of our custom process, we disclose any enhancements a sapphire may have gone through.
